Troy Sykes - President
Troy started T2SR Consulting Inc. in early 2020 following ownership of an asset management consulting business in Calgary, Alberta. Through his business, he consulted with public, private and non-profit organizations to assist with the creation and implementation of asset management programs. He provided training sessions (via webinars or in-person) for National Asset Management Services Canada (NAMS) and worked with hospices to create asset management practices closely linked with levels of service for patients and their families.
For over 21 years, Troy worked for the City of Calgary in various roles, primarily within Calgary Parks, and most recently was their Capital Lifecycle Lead responsible for a $20 million budget and prioritizing over 300 projects.
He has been involved with contracted services procurement, staff recruitment and management, development of work plans and safety protocols, and project management. In the role of the City of Calgary Parks Business Operational Analyst (2009-2014), Troy developed a customer level of service ranking system, that aligned with the Calgary Parks asset management plans and was adopted by other municipalities within Canada. At that time, Troy also developed a benchmarking program for the City of Calgary Parks, liaising with national and international organizations including Yardstick Benchmarking.
Todd Reichardt, M.Sc. - Vice President Innovation
Todd joined T2SR Consulting Inc. after a 29-year career with the City of Calgary Parks. He was part of the Calgary Parks Management Team for 21 years, during which time he was instrumental in the development of PARIS (Parks Asset Reporting and Information System) along with involvement in many other initiatives. PARIS is a geo-database repository for all parks assets and relevant meta data; this information is applied in short and long term capital life cycle decision making and improvement to levels of service.
He also held city-wide management portfolios for urban forestry, water management, business & asset strategies, festivals & events, cultural landscapes, park infrastructure and pathways. Todd created operational guides to assist with the successful implementation and performance measurement of year-round operational activities, directly linking annual objectives to parks strategic goals. He also identified and implemented operational improvements to optimize service delivery, achieving the top score of more than 100 cities in the Yardstick benchmarking program.
Todd provides creative solutions for the benefit of communities.
His strong relationships with clients, exceptional communication skills, and extensive media experience produce highly effective and successful deliveries to councils, key stakeholders and communities.
